Born from prayer. Created to carry comfort.
This special mission began on February 4, 2013. Since that day, thousands of Prayer Ponies have been adopted and sent into the world carrying messages of comfort and love.
After completing the first pony, named Faith, Kim held her in her arms and quietly called her a Prayer Pony. What began as a deeply personal vision has grown into a mission that reaches children, women, and families walking through difficult seasons.

Every Prayer Pony is hand-sewn by a dedicated team of like-hearted workers and volunteers. Each pony is created with care, named with intention, and accompanied by an inspirational poem.
The Prayer Pony Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. No salaries are paid within the organization; its purpose is simply to give and to glorify the love of Christ through service to His children.
Healing, hope, and horses
An extension of a horse's gentle purpose.
Horses became an important part of Kim’s life and played a special role in her family’s healing after the loss of her children’s father in 2005.
The heart of a horse is an incredible place of love, patience, trust, and guidance. A horse can hold space for our tears and prayers while offering comfort in a way that words sometimes cannot.
While it is not always possible to be in the presence of a horse, a Prayer Pony can be a sweet reminder of God's love and carry that same spirit of comfort wherever it is needed.
Our prayer is that every pony reminds someone they are loved, remembered, and never alone.
